I am not a fan of the Big Oil junta currently running the USA, but I do have to say that this anti-SUV rhetoric has gotten way out of hand. There are a variety of factors involved in the relationships of oil, pollution, terrorism, etc. and scapegoatting one particular kind of vehicle is assinine. I have walked to work every day for three years, and I rode the bus for two years before that. So in the last five years my American-made SUV has generated much less pollution than the average foreign sedan on its 60 mile round trip from outer suburbia.
