Do it like the Dutch

Clever Cycles, a Portland dealer of Dutch utility bikes, provides this very cool illustration of riding position on different kinds of bikes.  It’s accompanied by a good article explaining the diagram.

I’ve only ridden a Dutch style bike once, in Dutchlandia The Netherlands.  It was incredibly comfortable and a real joy to ride.  I think my next bike will be Dutch.  I’ll just skip right over today’s fixed-gear fad and go right for the next big fad.
